Softball Recap: P.K. Yonge Takes a Loss

P.K. Yonge's last matchup with Newberry could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Blue Wave came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-2. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Blue Wave couldn't push the score so high this time.

P.K. Yonge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jessica Bain, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

P.K. Yonge now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Newberry, their record is now 14-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. P.K. Yonge will face off against Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newberry, they will take on Williston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
