If Clayton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Pecos, they should've done a better job of containing Natalia Stout. The Pecos Panthers took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 63-35 win over the Clayton Yellowjackets thanks in part to Stout, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Marivel Tapia, who posted three points. Those three points gave her a new career-high.

Pecos is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Clayton, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
