Soccer Recap: Powell County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Powell County was the 4-1 winner over Estill County when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Engineers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Powell County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Powell County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-1. As for Estill County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Powell County will be playing at home against Oneida Baptist Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Estill County, they will challenge Wolfe County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
