Soccer Recap: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Takes a Loss

Rocky Mountain Lutheran managed to keep up with Dawson School until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eagles came up short against the Mustangs, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Rocky Mountain Lutheran couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Emely Corado Vega, which was the first she's scored this season.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-4. As for Dawson School, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Coming up, Rocky Mountain Lutheran will take on Nederland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dawson School, they will square off against Gilpin County at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Gilpin County's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Dawson School's offense will have their work cut out for them.
