Volleyball Recap: Lemmon Cowboys vs. Harding County Ranchers

After flying high against Hettinger/Scranton on Tuesday, Lemmon came back down to earth. The Cowboys fell just short of the Harding County Ranchers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss put an end to the Cowboys' undefeated start to the season.

Lemmon actually scored more points across those five sets (102-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 11-25, 25-21, 25-17, 16-14.

Among those leading the charge was Lexy Rolph, who had 20 digs. Rolph is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lemmon fell to 2-1. As for Harding County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Lemmon will face off against Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harding County, they will head out on the road to square off against Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame/Scranton] at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
