            Summit is 1-6 against Caldera since May of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Storm will welcome Caldera  at 5:00  p.m.
Summit is headed into Tuesday's   game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game  on Friday. They came up short against  Bend, falling  10-4. That's two games in a row now that the Storm have lost by  exactly six  runs.
Meanwhile, Caldera got the win against Redmond  on Friday by a conclusive  19-7. Considering Caldera has won six matches by more than six  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Elle Morton, who  fired off three  home runs, six  RBI,  and four  runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Morgan Voll, who  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Caldera  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in seven consecutive  contests.
 Caldera has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1.
