Baseball Game Preview: Beachwood Bison vs. Trinity Trojans

For the second straight game, Beachwood will face off against Trinity. The Bison will host the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beachwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Beachwood's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Trinity with a sharp 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Ethan Malek and Eli Ward did most of the damage at the plate: Malek went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Ward went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Malek has become a key player for Beachwood: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Caleb White was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
