Baseball Game Preview: Gulf Coast Sharks vs. Riverview Sarasota Rams

The Gulf Coast Sharks will challenge the Riverview Sarasota Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Gulf Coast and five for Riverview Sarasota.

Gulf Coast came up short against Venice on Monday, falling 13-3.

Gulf Coast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Kacinas, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Riverview Sarasota lost 11-5 to Barron Collier on Tuesday.

Riverview Sarasota's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Gulf Coast, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Gulf Coast's way against Riverview Sarasota in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Gulf Coast made off with a 9-1 victory. Does Gulf Coast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Riverview Sarasota turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
