Baseball Recap: East Aurora Takes a Loss

After flying high against Holland on Friday, East Aurora came back down to earth. The Blue Devils came up short against the Akron Tigers on Saturday, falling 13-3. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ross Rozanski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

East Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Akron, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, East Aurora will take on Eden at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Akron, they will square off against Newfane at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
