Caleb Mackey gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Montello back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Mackey has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.
