Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley's last matchup with Magnolia could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Lumberjacks lost 15-5 to the Blue Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their meetings with the Blue Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Magnolia, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

While Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
