Football Recap: Chelan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chelan extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They were dealt a 56-26 defeat at the hands of the Okanogan Bulldogs. If the Mountain Goats were looking for revenge after losing 57-7 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Okanogan, they now have a winning record of 3-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Tatum Gunn produced another solid performance rushing for 196 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Wesley Allen, who rushed for 99 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Coming up, Chelan will challenge Manson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okanogan, they will be playing at home against Tonasket at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
