Volleyball Recap: Parowan Rams vs. Duchesne Eagles
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Parowan had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Duchesne Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Parowan's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Duchesne between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16.
Taylen Yardley paced Parowan's offense, picking up eight kills. Yardley got some help from
Mckell Webster and her 15 assists.
Sadie Adams controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Parowan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which somehow still isn't as good as their 25-6 record this season. As for Duchesne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-12.
