Basketball Recap: Vinita Skates Past Colcord with Ease

Vinita won the last time they faced Colcord and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vinita Hornets blew past the Colcord Hornets, posting a 63-30 win. Given Vinita's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Colcord is ranked 343rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vinita is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Colcord, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
