Baseball Game Preview: Glenbard West Hilltoppers vs. Glenbard South Raiders

The Glenbard West Hilltoppers will challenge the Glenbard South Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Glenbard West took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let West Chicago get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Hilltoppers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26th (when they won 12-0).

Meanwhile, Glenbard South made easy work of Elgin on Thursday and carried off a 7-1 victory.

Dylan Taylor was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hunter Fort, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Glenbard South, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-16.
