Basketball Recap: D'Arbonne Woods Takes a Loss

D'Arbonne Woods was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 56-43 to the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, D'Arbonne Woods can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Calvary Baptist Academy is ranked 121st).

D'Arbonne Woods' loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

D'Arbonne Woods will square off against Claiborne Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Claiborne Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they will face off against Pleasant Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
