The Largo Packers will square off against the Viera Hawks at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Largo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Lily Meloy was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Lola Wissing, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Largo hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Viera, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over St. Cloud on Tuesday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Shea Young spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gracen Baker, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. That triple was her first of the season. Shayne Wofford was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Largo's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Viera, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
