Mullen piles up the points against Wheat Ridge

Recap: Mullen Mustangs vs. Wheat Ridge Farmers
Even though the Wheat Ridge Farmers scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, the Mullen Mustangs still came out on top. Mullen blew past Wheat Ridge 90-59 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mullen also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Mullen had a senior duo take command as Jordan Leslie dropped a triple-double on 10 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists and Anderson Brendle scored 23 points along with 6 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Stewart, who scored 13 points.
The win got Mullen back to even at 1-1. As for Wheat Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mullen will face off against Regis Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wheat Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Centaurus at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
