Basketball Recap: New Providence Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only New Providence walked away with it. They came out on top against the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls by a score of 51-44 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Pioneers, who have now won three games in a row.

New Providence's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Point Pleasant Beach, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-6.

Coming up, New Providence will challenge Thrive Charter on Friday. Thrive Charter will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something New Providence surely won't give up without a fight. Point Pleasant Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
