Basketball Recap: Unity Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Unity lost against Somerset back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Unity Eagles fell just short of the Somerset Spartans by a score of 60-57.

Unity's loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. As for Somerset, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Unity will look to defend their home court on Friday against Spring Valley at 7:15 p.m. Spring Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Unity surely won't give up without a fight. As for Somerset, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cumberland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
