In other batting news, Quinn Dzwik was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Olivia Bolt was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Frankfort came up short against Traverse City West on Thursday and fell 9-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.
Neysa Hodge made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Darby O'Grady, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Climax-Scotts' victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Frankfort, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1.
Frankfort's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Climax-Scotts hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365.
