Softball Recap: Crossville Comes Up Short

Crossville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Asbury Rams. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Crossville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Asbury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.

Crossville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Gaston on the 13th. As for Asbury, they have also already played their next game, a 17-1 defeat against Westbrook Christian on the 13th.
