Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Lincoln's offense. They came up short against the Southside Panthers on Friday, falling 7-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Golden Bears were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 16-10-1. As for Southside, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against Cherokee County on the 4th. As for Southside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Sand Rock on the 4th.
