Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence Christian). They really took it to the Houston Academy Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-38 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Houston Academy still got an impressive performance from Mary Helen Mendheim, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points and eight boards. That was a full 42.1% of Houston Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Liddon, who put up ten points.

The win was the third in a row for Providence Christian, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Houston Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Providence Christian will venture away from home to square off against Cottonwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houston Academy, they will host Northside Methodist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
