Basketball Game Preview: Toppenish Wildcats vs. King's Knights

Having just played yesterday, the Toppenish Wildcats will get right back to it and host the King's Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Toppenish is returning to their home court after beating Selah on theirs, despite the fact Selah has dominated at home this season. Toppenish managed a 56-51 victory over Selah on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, King's was able to grind out a solid win over Shorewood on Thursday, taking the game 65-56. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Stormrays are ranked 158th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Toppenish is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for King's, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
