Softball Recap: Garden Valley Takes a Loss

The Garden Valley Wolverines lost 24-5 to the Clearwater Valley Rams on Thursday. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Quinn Good made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Avery Simpson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Garden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Clearwater Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Garden Valley has already played their next game, an 8-7 loss against Genesee on the 15th. As for Clearwater Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Potlatch on the 15th.
