Soccer Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the George Rogers Clark Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Paris of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for George Rogers Clark, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paris will take on Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for George Rogers Clark, they will square off against Frederick Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
