Soccer Recap: Luling Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Luling was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Yoakum Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The outcome might've been different if Karina Ramirez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Luling hit Yoakum with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jacquelyn Guillen, Karen Guillen, and Vallentine Juarez.

Luling's draw makes their record 6-3-3 this season. Meanwhile, Yoakum's record is now 5-2-1.

Luling has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Gonzales on the 28th. As for Yoakum, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Cole on the 28th.
