Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vasquez). They blew past the Trinity Classical Academy Knights 98-62 on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on six straight.

Vasquez's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daeron Bankett led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Bankett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Parker, who went 8 for 11 en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

Vasquez has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Trinity Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.

Vasquez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they and Desert Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
