It was fun while it lasted, but Auburndale's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Friday. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Assumption Royals. The loss was the Apaches' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Auburndale fell to 5-1. As for Assumption, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
