Lakeview had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. Mary Tigers 59-27. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

Lakeview has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for St. Mary, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Lakeview and St. Mary will both be playing LaSalle the next time they take the court. Lakeview will host LaSalle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while St. Mary will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
