Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Lincoln). Everything went their way against the Statesville Greyhounds on Tuesday as they made off with a 23-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won nine in a row.

North Lincoln's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Statesville, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Lincoln beat the Greyhounds by a score of 15-0 on Friday.
