Football Recap: Welch Wildcats vs. Medford Cardinals
Welch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-6 loss at the hands of the Medford Cardinals. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Joseph Clinton threw for 118 yards and one touchdown. Eric Pitcher was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards and one TD.
Welch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Medford, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
