Volleyball Recap: Astoria/VIT Takes a Loss

Astoria/VIT lost against Triopia/Virginia back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rebels fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13.

Astoria/VIT's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Triopia/Virginia, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

Astoria/VIT didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Rushville-Industry on the 23rd. As for Triopia/Virginia, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] on the 23rd.
