Basketball Recap: Mt. Edgecumbe Comes Up Short

Mt. Edgecumbe and Monroe Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mt. Edgecumbe had to settle for second. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroe Catholic Rams. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 51-49 to the Rams when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Edgecumbe's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Monroe Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Edgecumbe nor Monroe Catholic have any future games scheduled.
