It was a good run, but Lincoln unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 62-27 defeat at the hands of the Eugene Eagles. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Eugene, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
