Lincoln Lutheran waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Lincoln Christian Crusaders by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Thursday.

Lincoln Lutheran easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12.

Lily Wohlgemuth paced Lincoln Lutheran's offense, picking up seven kills. Wohlgemuth got some help from Bella Sjuts and her 12 assists. Jayla Green controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lincoln Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Lincoln Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.
