Volleyball Recap: Fairmont's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Fairmont hadn't done well against Beavercreek recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Firebirds came out on top against the Beavers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Firebirds: when they faced off against the Beavers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

While Fairmont might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Beavercreek scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20.

Fairmont's offense was headlined by Peyton Adams and Aven Riegel, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Allie Amstutz and her 18 assists. Dani Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fairmont's victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-14. As for Beavercreek, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Fairmont will face off against Loveland at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Beavercreek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
