Softball Recap: Essex Takes a Loss

Essex lost against Rappahannock on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Raiders, falling 26-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Essex saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tai'Leah Cowles, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Essex's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Rappahannock, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Essex wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-8 win against Franklin on the 21st. As for Rappahannock, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Colonial Beach on the 22nd.
