Dexter led 2A District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on Tornillo.
6-foot-3 quarterback Blade Allen of New Mexico Military Institute is the league leader in passing yards this season with 283. He has also thrown two touchdowns. On the ground, Eunice's Eric Leyva has rushed for 464 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Dylan Frank. The Eunice star has seven catches for 159 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Eunice takes on second place Dexter. Last week, the Cardinals, while the Demons topped the Coyotes.
