Softball Recap: Calloway County Comes Up Short

Calloway County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado, falling 10-0. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Tornado apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Calloway County's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Paducah Tilghman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Looking ahead, Calloway County will welcome Graves County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will be taking part in a tournament against Caldwell County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
