Soccer Recap: East Lansing Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alma last Tuesday, East Lansing came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Grand Ledge Comets by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but East Lansing couldn't quite close it out.

East Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Grand Ledge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Lansing will face off against Ovid-Elsie at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grand Ledge, they will take on Grand Blanc at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
