After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whiteville, Bunn was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Northampton County Jaguars with a 33-28 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Lonnie Reid threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Cj Kearney was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Jadyn Hicks rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown.
