Football Recap: Cosby Comes Up Short

Cosby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the James River Midlothian Rapids. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rapids apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Cosby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for James River Midlothian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cosby will take on rival Richmond High School for the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, James River Midlothian is set to square off against their familiar foe Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
