Volleyball Recap: Willow Glen Takes a Loss

Willow Glen suffered their biggest loss since September 2nd on Friday. They came up short against the King's Academy Knights, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willow Glen was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made King's Academy work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 27-25, 25-19.

King's Academy found their leader in sophomore Michaela Wu, who had 11 digs.

Willow Glen now has a losing record of 5-6. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Willow Glen has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Gunderson on the 23rd. As for King's Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Pinewood on the 23rd.
