Eldorado is 7-0 against Reagan County since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Eldorado Eagles take on the Reagan County Owls at 6:15 p.m. Eldorado has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 5.

Last Tuesday, Eldorado came up short against Sterling City and fell 30-17.

Meanwhile, Reagan County ended up a good deal behind Sonora on Tuesday and lost 44-26. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Reagan County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Eldorado strolled past Reagan County in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 38-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eldorado since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
