Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Shelby walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Madison Patriots on Monday as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The win was just business as usual for Shelby, who after 24 games remain undefeated this season.

They hit Madison with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alyvia Berkowitz (3), Ramsey Brooks (2), and Stella Martin.

Shelby's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 68 goals over those 14 contests. As for Madison, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6-1.

Looking ahead, Shelby will square off against Newton-Conover at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newton-Conover will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Shelby surely won't give up without a fight. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
