Volleyball Recap: Gloucester Comes Up Short on the Road Against King William

Gloucester had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the King William Cavaliers on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Gloucester was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-20.

The victory got King William back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gloucester will take on New Kent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Dukes their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for King William, they will challenge Amelia County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
