Basketball Game Preview: Independence Knights vs. Memorial Warriors

Independence hasn't had much luck against Memorial recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Independence Knights will be home for the holidays to greet the Memorial Warriors at 5:45 p.m.

On Tuesday, Independence came up short against Emerson and fell 48-37. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Memorial waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed by the Coyotes to the tune of 78-48. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 29 points or more this season.

Memorial pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
