Cheyenne put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Del Sol Dragons with a sharp 9-1 win. Considering the Desert Shields have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Raider Campos and Esai Esparza made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Campos didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Esparza tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Campos has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Campos got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double, while Esparza scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That double was Campos' first of the season.

In other batting news, Tapa Gamoras was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Cole Steiner, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Cheyenne pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Del Sol, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
